A looming crisis

The time has come for this nation to apply every means possible to secure some type of energy policy that will sustain us through the coming years. But through it all the Obama plan seems to have been to ignore those things that Conservatives wanted, (nuclear & oil) in an effort to appease his radical far left liberal/progressive backers while helping to benefit the union and green movements. With the far left and their view on drilling and nuclear power the outlook for this country will not be good. It brings closer that looming crisis of an energy shortage and extremely high costs involved with the  transportation of food when gasoline and diesel fuel drive those prices through the roof. We can stack windmills on top of one another and put solar panels on the roof of every house in this country but it will not replace our need of fossil fuel and we cannot wish these problems away.

If we don't make it easier to get nuclear plants online and unless we can drill in all areas that have a reasonable chance of producing oil then we continue hurting ourselves and taking a huge chance of driving this country into a depression that will finish off what our enemies could not. Somehow we must convince the folks drawing the big bucks" our esteemed leaders", they have not done anything to get us in control of this shortage of energy in this country and they have to  get off their collective asses and do something for the country or they will be the next to get their walking papers. We have the Obama administration shut down oil exploration  which will only slow down our recovery even more because of an explosion and fire which has been investigated and studied and draws no bearing on the exploration of oil. While this country falls further behind in energy production this step by the president in light of our energy situation makes absolutely no sense. Why shut down an industry which keeps our country running, an industry which employs hundreds of thousands of people across this country? It also makes no sense to shut down an industry that also creates thousands of off shoot jobs and all of them paying above average salaries from the professional all the way down to day labor. These two areas of energy production, nuclear and oil, will increase our independence and our tax base and that my friends would quickly cut our deficit not to mention, it would help solve our debt crisis with China.

Perhaps if this administration will work with the new incoming party, just maybe an opportunity will present itself to all of the parties involved and eyes can be opened and there will be a re-opening of those areas the administration had shut down and then along with that perhaps nuclear plants can finally be viewed in a positive light and "leaders" will realize it is time to work together for the good of this country and at that point, nuclear will not have to endure any further harsh treatment with these lengthy involved struggles from environmentalists which would finally allow this country turn the energy corner and really help America revive itself before it's too late. Plus it would stop putting billions of dollars into the hands of enemies overseas.

It feels as if America has been abandoned by our lawmakers. When people came to America in the early days, many came because they wanted to practice their religion and not be persecuted. They knew if they followed that just set of laws which were written so long ago then their lives and this new country could prosper, and prosper it did, beyond imagination. They came with hope to this place, this new country, this place which was destined to become the most blessed nation on the face of this earth. Then abiding by a moral and just set of God and natures laws, America received bountiful blessings through which it has repeatedly given back to the whole world and doing so without expectation of return. America has been able to do those things because Americans worked faithfully to follow the rules that was given.

America stood up in this most recent election and told politicians very clearly, "do not continue to ignore our voices,  the country is going the wrong way!" Without hesitation and in spite of election returns Conservative America was totally ignored Without missing a beat and with political correctness as the reason, politicians in order to shore up votes for themselves rather than national blessings for the country lawmakers have decided to pursue ways which contradict the very laws of God and nature to the point now where they've openly challenged the original maker and giver of laws. 

I feel strongly that God purposefully and specifically blessed this land, and for the inhabitants of this land to retain the blessings of God certain obligations and behaviors are required. They're even listed in a book, saves you from having to remember them. We began to stop following the rules we were given years ago and the blessings have become fewer and fewer. Our country now contends with many problems, many brought on by our own actions or inactions. One of our most recent problems is leaked security information which was stolen by a member of the military, Bradley Manning. A low ranking individual who got mad at his boyfriend.

 Now even before implementation of this new homosexual legislation/law that Congress passed today we can see the type of problems we may expect. A problem severe as theft/espionage directly linked to a behavior, a behavior banned in the military to the point where even speaking the matter was cause for discharge. Something that unspeakable sure doesn't seem as though it should suddenly be shouted from the rooftops. But America we have here a new law from politicians which says to America and the military; "You folks remember the 200 plus years of morality concerning homosexuals? Well, we got news for you, that stuff  is out the window now so, damn you to any who feel offended".

If anybody has been wondering why this country seems to be facing so many problems these days, maybe, just maybe we should take a look and see exactly where we stand with that same God that does the blessings. Perhaps we do make a slip here and there, on not abiding by those rules exactly 100% of the time may produce a little correction here and there but, believe me that continued and in your face refusal to follow the laws will probably get you some real correction and it may well be that ours is under way. Remember, every step we take which moves us away from that straight path we were told to follow, then the heavier the load becomes, the longer and steeper the path is going to be, and the more difficult our steps will become. So with this new law congress added another hill and a turn to our path. Oh Yeah, almost forgot they added another straw, but not on the camels back,  that one they put on our ass.

Hold on it's nearly over

I think we have come to this point where the law needs to be changed relating to this lame duck session that congress takes on after elections. When we hold elections and the people elect a new representative what they are saying to the person that lost is very simple, "You no longer have permission to cast any vote on my behalf because I have now hired a new representative and you are fired, go home".

The lame duck session of 2010 is really showing its bright shiny ass even after facing the reality of the results of the mid term election. Perhaps the line of, "Well, they did it" may apply here but for the life of me I can find but one reason for this to be taking place and it's simply that there are some people that want to poke the eye of the America people in retaliation of those same mid terms.

The mindset of the liberals after electing Obama was now they were in the majority and they could and would enact any and every piece of liberal legislation ever dreamed since the ink dried on the constitution. However during the first half of the Obama administration the Republicans held firm in many votes and prohibited the libs from obtaining those dreams and they failed to get what they wanted.

They figured in the lame duck they could make up for lost ground. I don't know how much of what has been done by this lame duck can be remedied once the new members are sworn in. They will have an effect but still they face Dirty Harry in the Senate and Obama will still be on the throne.How much of a lasting effect this lame duck will have on America this election cycle I don't know. I do hope it is limited and even better than that I hope it's reversible. Congress soon ends the new year is at hand and we will have the new congress starting the new session so one way or another we will know very shortly.

Sizing down the EU

There are problems worldwide and they continue to expand with each passing day. Many of those problems reside in the financial stability of the EU. With looming financial problems I look for the European Union to eliminate some of their members. Germany is in a position of prominence and with their economy being in so much better shape than the rest of the EU, they will be the country that dictates which countries will be pushed out of the group which now  makes up the EU. The monetary problems facing countries within the EU will find their way into Belgium and Austria, just like Greece, Portugal, and Ireland and this will just lead to more of the same thing in the near future.

We're looking at 26 or so countries which make up the EU at this point in time. You can look for Germany to knock down the number of countries to around 10 which will become the core of the EU in the near future. Got to remember the big bank is in Germany and they do hold the purse strings. They can yea or nay those countries that come to the EU with hand out asking for help. Lets just say I have my doubts when it comes to what really lies in the heart of Germany. Not sure why this came to mind other than it's sort of like lots of things here lately, just popped in from out of left field perhaps.

Defined Difference

This latest incident on the border with the killing of an American agent by drug runners from Mexico causes me concern. The deaths of lots of people along the border can be attributed to smuggling, both people and drugs. Drugs are a major problem in America and there is no simple way to get people to break such an addiction. We do know changing this drug habit will take a different mind set of the entire country. We will have to stop accepting this drug epidemic as something normal rather we must make it clear drug use is not acceptable and it is not an appropriate lifestyle to be embraced.

 For much too long  the liberal establishment and their lifestyle has promoted an acceptance of this freer and  more open society and with that has come their promotion of open borders. There has been many people from the progressive  wing of this radical liberal party that has consistently  gone to war against the people who promote conservative ideas in America. Progressive liberals have promoted the idea of schools raising our kids, Most all of them agree with the ACLU plan on removing religion from the public square, and allowing illegals free access to our country. Democrats are fine with millions of illegals sneaking into the country and taking jobs that should be done by Americans. The fact remains that Americans are the legal stewards of this land and therefore should be the recipients of the bounty which their stewardship produces which are known as jobs..

Failure of the Progressive Democrat party to acknowledge  that America will not tolerate the illegal stampede of people trying to sneak into the country has contributed to deaths of untold numbers of illegals along our southwestern desert border. If the President and the progressives liberals called the Democrat party fail to stand up for complete border security and back states like Arizona in their fight against illegals, then they should be recognized as accomplices in those acts of smuggling, raping, and the killing of people they smuggle. These actions take place every day along the southern border of this country. Republicans are called hostage takers because they want to stop wasteful spending in this country while Democrat progressive liberal whiners on the other hand are aiding and abetting smugglers, rapists, and murderers. I feel the comparisons are fair and the difference has now been defined.

America when did your spirit break? When did your pride leave you? Where is the America that led the world from the dark days of world wars? Where are those brave men of character like those that founded this great country? Have we won our last battle? Are we prepared to bow our heads and stand in defeat while our victors rejoice over our humiliation?

America stands in the shadow of its former greatness and the world looks and wonders how a country once so great and powerful could have fallen so low. People stands in wonder at a nation which led the world in so many areas and which had been the source of help for so many countries around the world. America has been a nation of such strength that around the world other countries showed quiet humility fearing retribution should they dare confront such power. No longer does that humility exist and countries regularly thumb their nose at America when we stand up against tyranny around the world.

I cannot put an exact date down as to when our country started on this downward spiral but I can say with certainty, one of the most important reasons for our demise lies in the failure of America to follow the instruction manual (Bible) he sent to us, and for America to give thanks for the bountiful blessings which have been laid upon this nation since the very founding of this land. There was a time when people were proud to display their allegiance to God and country and the people stood strong in faith and give thanks for those bountiful blessings from God. The number of those with such faith was great, and their pride in this country was just as strong and the world felt our strength and knew our faith was the source of our greatness. Then somewhere along the line we became complacent and took all these gifts for granted and began to believe we earned or deserved them. Thats when the changes began.

Republicans get elected to office, Big fight takes place and Obama signs Tax Cuts For the Rich.

2010 tax year---Tom pays $12,000 in taxes to the Government and Sammy pays nothing just like 2009.

Then Democrats say they must borrow $12,000 from China to pay for Toms' tax cut because the terrorist Republicans are holding Sammy hostage. So when the Dems get this $12,000 from China just who are they going to give it to? I mean after all they have to pay for Toms tax cut. Are they going to give the money to Tom since he already paid his $12,000 to the Government? No they want to give part to Sammy cause he isn't ready to go back to work yet. Then they want to give some to Sammy's Union and some to the school where Sammy's kids go and they want to give to liberal colleges, the NPR, invest some with George Soros in moon beam power and then help Charlie Rangel and Maxine Waters with their legal bills and then probably just piss the rest off somewhere down in the islands.

Try as you might there is no way to spin this story of taxing ourselves into prosperity. When you take from one pocket to put into another pocket you have gained not one thing. To take money from one person and give to another does not increase the wealth of the country and it does not level the field it simply creates strife and division.

Congress closes their doors today and head out of Washington. That's if all goes well they will leave and hopefully for the time they are out of Washington our country can begin healing itself from the damage done by the Democrat party since the beginning of this session. Of course that healing won't be complete because the damage was too deep and will take lots of determination to correct. This struggle will have to come from old and new members alike who believe in the greatness of this country before all the problems will be made right.. In the end a new body of elected citizens will have to diligently commit themselves to hard work and persuasion of the public if those damages are to be fully healed. But, it can be done. Time will be needed but given time and the right people elected to office, then the needed changes can and will be implemented.

Spending is out of hand, immigration has become the issue that will only worsen until action is taken to close the borders to all illegal immigration into this country. If that problem is not handled and done soon it may well create monumental problems along our Southern border. Along with the wars and terror problems throughout the world our commitment to those problems will need to be reinforced. So although congress will be leaving Washington the residue left by them will remain. Lets hope during the time away from the seat of Government members will listen to their constituents this time and come back with an entirely different attitude. Bring bakc an attitude that will be servant to the citizens and not the other way around. So to those leaving Washington and headed back to face the music in their districts, "School's Out! Be Gone! Bon Voyage.!

Happy Birthday America

Well some 234 years ago on July 4, 1776 some very special individuals decided they would declare independence from the home country of Britain and on that day the birth of America took place. Many years have passed and some outstanding birthdays have since taken place and with them many important people have come to the forefront in the molding of this great country.

No one knows how many birthdays are left for America to celebrate. The lifetime of this country could be somewhat shortened because, the "horn of plenty", which this country is known for, has been drawn down considerably by constant overuse and in some cases abuse. The ways some people have turned to the government to be a nanny-state is bringing America a little closer to the breaking point. Too many people have taken to look on America as their personal checking and overdraft protector, rather than a debit card with a set amount which on occasion must be replenished.

There is a need for people to be part of the country through personal involvement by participating in the government in many ways such as working, volunteering, and voting. When people take these actions they add up, and in so doing it makes them Americans and it makes this country more resemble that which our founders envisioned. We must not however, allow government to run every aspect of our lives. When government begins making those decisions we normally set aside for ourselves then the American dream of freedom begins to devolve into the type of country Americas' Founders left more than those 234 years ago. There is a place for the government but it is not in each and every nook and cranny and movement of our lives to the point where government ends up directing each and every step we take, on this journey we call America.

I mentioned important people which come to the forefront of our history and help us through or up and  over difficult obstacles. We are in times such as those now and it require that type of patriotic people to step forward again, people like you, your Father, Mother, brother, sister, or your neighbors, need to come forward to give what they can to make sure this country continues down the path of freedom and righteousness, so that once again we may be the recipient of Gods Blessings.

Happy Birthday America,  I truly hope there are many, many more.

It's the borders, stupid!

Still no help from Obama on the border issue and it appears there will be none in the future the way things are going. Today on Greta,  the guest Representative Gutierrez was quizzed about what to do on the border issue and the best she could get from him was something about his social security card was the same as years ago.

No matter how many times Greta tried to get Mr Gutierrez to tell her how to go about securing the border he would not acknowledge anything to do with securing the border. His plan was simply to let people come on in and give them amnesty, an approach much like many others on the liberal side of this border equation. It sure seems to me there are lots of people in politics at this point in our history that do not believe in protecting our borders. These are some of the first people that need to be thrown out of office in this next election. Until we can control the border the crime problems there will only get worse.

Senator Kyl in Arizona has said that Obama does not want to secure the border until there is some type of "comprehensive" immigration policy put into place. That simply means that until the GOP gives in to his amnesty policy for illegals the president does not intend to do anything with really making the border secure. Jan Brewer has repeatedly called on the president for help with the drug and illegal immigrant problem in Arizona. Her calls for help have gone either unanswered or answered with this current threat of being sued, sometimes referred to as a  "slap down".

Lots of things going on in this country that leads me to believe that certain people are not doing, what they swore an oath to do, when they hired on to their current job. Some may not like that but like it or not those are the facts and no amount of pissing and moaning are going to change those facts. We need to elect some people into office that will take their oath to protect this country seriously and not just say that and step in and start doing something entirely different. Got to hold these politicians feet to the fire people, got to hold em.

war really is hell

 

Today the news is over General Machrystal  and statements made by him or more accurately statements made by aids under the General which raise questions not over the subject in the news but an underlying subject. I think what we have here, (The underlying theme about the General) is nothing more than the presidents idea of winning by pulling out of Afghanistan blowing up in his face and in the face of the world. It appears that the situation is not conducive to winning along the terms the president set forth. Too much pressure for following this plan is creating an impossibility to complete by the command structure in the war zone.

 

Look for the General to be fired then another replacement will be installed to try his luck at fulfilling a dream instead of a real plan to win in that country where terror made such an obscene picture unfold in the heart of New York City. I feel when you stamp a date on policy it is one thing but when you put a date on a war, well that turns out to be entirely another matter and one that will not follow any rules set out by any president. Rules of war or the plans for a war change always immediately upon contact with the enemy and will remain a changing constant till victory is obtained or defeat handed back. Pray for our troops and our country and especially for Obama. God help us all, times are moving to a certain end.

the two shall never meet

TV is a wonderful invention, but it has its drawbacks much like many other of our modern conveniences. The part of TV I dislike most of all is the lack of intervention. One can watch or one can turn the channel or one can turn the thing off and go about their every day lives making progress with self improvement or interacting with other people. You cannot make a TV listen to you no matter how loud you scream or yell. Those talking will continue to say whatever they they wish to say without listening to anything you continue to yell. Thats one of the inconveniences I mentioned above.


Today the political ramblings of the Sunday talk shows went across the wires right on cue. The same old lies from the same old people once again made their um-teenth rounds while the same old watchers sat frustrated screaming the same old screams for the um-teenth time with the same old results. Lies are rampart on TV talk shows because those doing the interviewing share a political point of view either with or against the one being interviewed. Once you have this alliance then what you get is either what you want to hear or what you know you will hear, but undoubtedly you will not hear the exact facts whatever is being discussed.


This boils down to what type person you are. There are basically two categories of politicians; Conservatives and Liberals, and  basic attitudes are formed about most all of the choices we make as human beings in this country. A question was asked today about raising the price of Liability on drilling which is already at some seventy-five Million dollars. The liberal said we need to have a much higher price because we need to have rich companies drilling so they would be able to pay in case of these accidents. The Conservative said, You need to keep the price reasonable otherwise you will only have rich companies drilling and then you have fewer chances for there to be fair competition. Plus you end up with Government coming in and having to subsidize some of the smaller companies and you will end up with bribery taking place so the little guy can come in to drill.


Two philosophies, two political parties, two types of TV watchers, and still no way to scream loud enough for the lying bastards to hear you.

the plan is no plan

There is a word for the stuff you heard from the president tonight, bull-shit. Talk about crap it was genuine 100% crap. To say the reason that BP was drilling where they were was due to the fact we were running out of oil is as big a lie as Obama has spoken since he became president of this country. The reason BP was drilling where they were is due to this administration wanting to squash the oil drilling operations in this country and not allowing drilling in places more accessible, which is directly due to the president and the environmentalists in this country.

If this guy does not lift the moratorium on drilling what will happen is more people will continue to be out of work while the rest of the world grows their economies. This country will not make it on wind solar and batteries people, it isn't going to happen. Now we will sit and watch the problem in the gulf grow and we can hope that somehow someone will find a way to stop this leak and start cleaning the disaster which has taken place along the coastline of Louisiana and the other gulf states. Prayers accepted.

More spite against Israel

The Israel situation continues to be on the minds of many people today. Since the incident with the flotilla more people world wide raised their voices in discontent against Israel. There seems to be a crescendo building against the one country that has stood by our side from the beginning and now they find the United States voting with the UN and against them. How this can be I do not know. Many things that this president and Congress have done of late are things I do not go along with and certainly do not agree with. I've written in letters to friends and family in the past how I believe that the entire world would soon come against Israel. There was a couple that voiced more than a little disagreement since they felt the US would never be one of those condemning Israel. Things have taken place now and that one point is no longer valid.

I believe a lot of this started with President Obama chastising Netanyahu. Afterwards when the news got out about the treatment, "the very rude treatment at that", at that point other countries felt they now have a green light to continue with their hate and hateful treatment of Israel. Countries now will go all out to demand more from Israel and all the while ignore those kingdoms and countries that have long abused human rights of their citizens for generations . We need to show solidarity with Israel and let the world know Israel is a friend. If that does not happen then you can be assured that countries which have condemned and attacked Israel in the past will continue to do so, only now they will do it with more vengeance.  Even though Germany will raise their voice with others, in the end look for some understanding of this situation to be shown towards Israel.

Israel seeks friendship

Look for Israel to search for an ally. The ally that Israel will find is Germany. The time draws closer for the friendship between the two countries to take place. Israel has been bludgeoned by Obama with his acts towards Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu. Israel is being accused by all countries for every problem that exists in the middle east and all eyes are on them. With the latest action in the UN it is certain that in this search for an ally Germany will be the one they turn to in the very near future. 

It has been said by particular individuals that this would take place. The breakdown between Israel and the United States. It has also been said that Israel would combine with Germany for a period to take on the problem of Iran. Look for it to happen. These and other acts will take place because they are not random acts.  These actions which are taking place and others that will take place have been predicted by a group of people with information which has not been rebuked. Keep your eyes on Israel and Europe. The pope will become involved and is scheduled to visit countries in hopes to bring the different religions closer and perhaps under a large umbrella religion. As this transpires a Catholic bishop was murdered today prior to the arrival of the pope in Greek Cyprus. Some claim it's due to the child abuse scandal others don't want the pope in the country for differing reasons. Watch and read.

start thinking people

Here are some little black helicopter droppings for you. Today some news station showed Obama talking to a graduation class and he was going on about how modern communication of news is having a bad effect on people. He went on to tell the students how all this info may not be good for them since they may have to decide if a certain piece of news was true or not. After listening to him and the way he went on about this distribution of news and everyday activities it gave me the impression that perhaps we may be at or very near that point where the government attempts to remove the free full flow of information the Internet currently provides. How this could be taking place would have been a question I never could have imagined asking a couple years ago. Removing the ability for full complete open access through the Internet seems to be what is in the plans of Obama and the progressive team that supports him. If you recall this is what China wanted Google to do, that is not allow their people to have that full access to all the information out there

Now with Obama in office along with some of the people that he has surrounding him and with all the things going on across the world it is past time to take a very real look and a very close look at just what Obama is saying to the American people when he talks. Those final steps to gain what Obama needs to make these last few adjustments the left and progressives have worked decades for, will require a change in the supreme court. Now here are those little droppings from that black helicopter I mentioned earlier. That could happen if God forbid something happened to one or a couple of the current justices or if somehow there was a need to institute martial law. Keep you ears and eyes open and start believing what your heart is trying to tell you. Doubt is part of your senses too.

A Time For All

I stand looking off into the distance and memories from a more pleasant time comes forth and provides comfort and warmth much like that of an embrace from a favorite family member or some long forgotten childhood friend. Those scenes shatter as sounds from another TV pundit proclaims the wonders of the Obama administration. The cloth from which the pattern of this country was cut and sewn together has started to unravel before our eyes. The story about this country has been revised and rewritten, and one place where this has happened is in our schools. Those teaching the history of this country have left out chapter after chapter of the real America and the real Americans.

One thing that has been torn from the pages of this country's history is the pages concerning our religious heritage. This is not something new but has slowly grown into acceptance of so many people over the years.  Institutions have helped create laws which say there can no longer be any mention of God in the classroom. Yes indeed, God forbid teach something which might give the children a basis of common sense/decency and a clear cut line of that which is right and wrong. A line the liberal teaching profession and progressives across this great country have decided does not exist. Taught by politics, culture and in our schools and university's taught by some who were part of a generation where virtue was an inconvenience and, "If it felt good do it".,  These days the children are taught that Christian religion doesn't and should not play an important role in American life today, a time in their life where there is such a need for direction and assurance.

Samuel Adams stated "A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when they lose their virtue they will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader".


So as memories fade and reality forces itself back into the forefront we must realize, time is running out and  unless we decide to return to that time when God was in our daily life, and yes even within our government, and unless we return to the time when we prayed with reverence without embarrassment and asked God for his help, we cannot and we will not survive this last fight we are soon to enter. Do not let others dictate their progressive style of life that contradicts the lifestyle which God has directed us. I am not the caliber person our founders were, where men had to stand and be prepared to give their lives for their beliefs. I can strive to become something only in the shadow of such great men as those but I will continue to read, study, learn and voice my opinion.

Team Obama end run

Today in Congress the conversation is about Puerto Rico and a vote on statehood for their country. What this really is about is extra votes for the Democrat party. There will be the extra senators and extra Representatives and these extra reps will be in the Democratic column when it comes to voting.

Tax money from PR will amount to nothing when all is said and done. The amount of US tax money that will go to PR will far outweigh what they contribute when compared to other states. This simply amounts to pulling a slight of hand with this vote and the hope that when all is said and done and should PR become a state, the Democratic party are hoping they will have more votes for the Obama team. This is not good if Puerto Rico comes into statehood under these circumstances. Watch closely what this administration is doing to the country once again cutting corners and doing an end run.

Time is wasting

How's that hope and change doing? I'm not sure just how anybody can be doing anything more than being worried with his lack of real leadership. I'm talking about the kind of leadership that instills calm in the population. Afraid Obama doesn't do that to any other than his closest comrades. Things are headed in a really bad direction and those clowns in Washington that are supposed to be doing the driving don't have the slightest idea in hell where we are going. They have a map but they refuse to use it. We are going backwards and raising taxes is not what we need. We are going to suffer if we plan to get this debt under control but there is no other way to do it. Cutting the payroll in Washington is what we need and we also need to be getting rid of most all of the land the goverment is holding, give it back to the states to the people and let them decide what to do with it.

 

 An overveiw of what I see is people in politics are not doing what is best for us as a country. I can go back and read some of the letters written by Wasahington or Jefferson or so many of the other guys and you can tell right away the difference in the caliber of people we deal with these days. There are so few real statesmen left to help us right nw. Thats my feelings about it anyway. When you have theives, tax cheats, politicians unfaithful to their spouse then you have people not looking out for what they should be looking out for.

 

It seems like not long ago there were good men in office. In reallity I wasn't paying attention to what was happening. Bad enough I wasn't watching close about what was going on but all the hundreds of thousands and millions of other people not paying attention right along side of me. I've started to wonder here lately if it's too late to bring the country back to that place where honesty was a given, a mans' word meant something, there was a real love and appreciation for the country and the good it stood for, It was called pride. There was a pride in the country because we really did stand for something better and bigger than ourself. That love of country was magnified in our children and it manifested itself into a love and concern for our neighbors.

 

I look at where we are today and wonder if maybe we finally cut the ties that bound us to those yester-years where God was allowed everwhere and the ACLU was just letters in the alphabet. I think good men stopped doing something somewhere along the line and now we are starting to pay a very heavy price. If there is time and enough good men,"and women", get back to doing what we should perhaps we will be able to turn the tide before it ends. There is a time comming where we pass a point of no return and we become a failed experiment in the worlds' labratory.

 

It will take a huge number of people to turn this situation around. If the lies about evil America are allowed to continue in the media without calling them on it then we are in big trouble. Good thing there are people out there like Beck, Hannity, Rush, Nugent, You get the idea. There are thousands out there doing the broadcast and book source, but where the real power comes from is the patriots out here in flyover country. Once the real facts are heard about how the Obama team is trying to slip these socialist policies into everyday American life I think more eyes will be opened up. So many people have been dumbed down by the Leftist media it is no wonder they blindly follow Obama and his line of bunk. Time is so precious at this point. I hope the truth begins to unfold and some eyes begin to open and then we can have, "real change."

home alone?

One of the reasons a lot of Americans find Obama oddly foreign is that he had an oddly foreign childhood: His formative years were spent in Indonesia. His half-sister, Maya Soetoro Ng, was born there. The rest of Obama’s childhood was spent in Honolulu, a Pacific Ocean capital soaked in East Asian culture.What’s this got to do with Britain, or indeed with Europe? Plenty. Obama is the first U.S. president who was raised without cultural or emotional or intellectual ties to either Britain or Europe. The British and the Europeans have been so enchanted with “America’s first black president” that they haven’t been able to see what he really is: America’s first Third World president.

I remember him returning the bust of Churchill, I recall him sending some CD's that don't work in Britain's to the Prime Minister then he sent some cheesy DVDs of his speeches to the Queen, then he went and jumped ugly on Netanyahu most recently when he left him sitting by himself while he went to eat with his darling Michelle. This guy is causing us more problems than we will be able to fix if we aren't able to remove him from office next election. I just hope some of his supporters are thinking, "MY God what have I helped do to this country?"

How bout the real terrorists

Here in the past couple days a militia group came under scrutiny and one or some of the members were arrested.  From the news one would think this group without doubt must be the most dangerous and probably the only group like them across the country otherwise the FBI would make some mention about some of these other groups.


There are many groups out there wanting to do real harm to America. As I write this there is a group known by the name of Muslims of America (MoA) or Jamaat ul-Fuqra (in Pakistan). Camps of 30 to 400 acres spread across this country, filled with what seems to be majority black individuals training to kill, blow up, disrupt and all the same things they do in the training camps of Afghanistan and other places that hate America and what we stand for. Here in America these people have taken possession of lands and use them to train to do the very thing the group called Hutaree Militia are accused of which the FBI and other law enforcement officials have spent so much time and money to bring to trial. 


While these MoA camps operate freely and without interference from the law there is an outrage across the country with the lame stream media and certain law people over the homegrown militia, (Right wing Tea Party Republican supporters) yet there is little to nothing being done or even said about what may amount to as many as 3000 trainees in about 35 different camps across this country. We need to direct attention to the places where attention and action is really needed. Do not over look american militia but, "By Damn', do not over look those America hating Muslums that are willing to do far more damage to the country than a few weekend  could ever possibly do.

A dry hole

 Out here in my part of the world oil is a major producer of jobs and has been so for generations. When a well is drilled and ends up not producing it is referred to as a dry hole, just a well that does not produce anything. The president just announced that there will be drilling to take place now. What is taking place is nothing more than word play from the same guy that said no to any drilling when he was in campaign mode before the election. More than likely this offer of his will be put in the middle of some huge stack of papers calling for all sorts of new candies the Democrat party wants for themselves or for some of their constituents.

This will not be a stand alone bill under any circumstances, a bill that would actually do what the bill says and not just some words that mean nothing, or would allow some small percentage of drilling to take place. This bill or the suggestion of a bill the president is offering probably is nothing more than lease applications that are given out but in the end never allowed to be drilled to the point of production even if the explored lease contains oil. Obama is using this false offer in an attempt to persuade those on the right to take the bait he is offering. I say to those on the conservative side, that until Obama produces a single bill which states emphatically that drilling will be allowed without onerous restrictions do not believe this guy because he is not being honest with us. He is trying to sell us a dry hole.

US & Israel

With all the confusing talk concerning Israel and the relationship with the United States, there are many people in this country shaking their heads with disbelief and confusion. First it brings to mind the competency of those negotiating this process between Israel and the leadership of the "Palestinian People". Many believe that Obama and his bargainers are doing nothing more than adding gas to a fire which already burns out of hand. I fail to see any real desire on the side of the Palestinian leaders or their people to settle this dispute with Israel which has plagued the area since Israel was replanted back into their homeland in 48.  From the beginning Israel has given up land in hopes for peace and each and every time they have been rewarded by more attacks. Every inch of compromise for peace ever given in this dispute from the very beginning has been given up by Israel and in turn rejected by those representing the Palestinians.

The Palestinians/Hamas/Fatah/Iran along with Arabs in general do not want any kind of treaty with Israel. They want Israel wiped off the map plain and simple. When Obama and the Secretary of State Clinton use inflammatory language demanding Israel stop building in an area never before off limits to construction, in reality it gives these attacks by the haters of Israel a green light to continue their rocket attacks and suicide bombing. So the harsh words used by this administration gives those that already call for the destruction of Israel more fuel for their arguments that Israel should be wiped from the face of the earth. These words of Obama's will prove to have caused grave harm to the relation long held between the US and Israel.

This administration will not continue to be the ally is has been in the past and there will soon come a time when        
Israel will require help in their fight against their neighbors. At the same time Britain with it's dependent population and sovereign coinage stands vulnerable and on a certain edge with the EU and may require help also. I think that their need for help may be answered by Germany because it appears America with this current administration is slowly but surely losing their ability/will to protect old friends and allies as it once did and I personally think it's due to the type people running this country today.

Politicians

Politicians are a horrible breed if you judge them as a group. Somewhere amongst those serving at this time if you search with diligence you could find a few that would be deserving some amount of praise. It seems at times the majority of them stand where they are for the purpose of money or power and nothing more. Honor, on the other hand was what was given to the position that early statesmen held. They sought their political positioin to serve their country and in so doing fulfill an obligation they felt was worthy while some did so in an attempt to repay what God had so graciously given to the early founders of this magnificent country.

We stand in a country different in many ways from the early days of this country. Men going to jail for bribery, sexual misconduct among members are on the rise, Acts of dishonesty against the country itself stand out as traits that bring dishonor and shame to a country founded on a belief that it was God which helped America become so great. We move away from those days of greatness when politicians change the rules of the game in order to push forward an ideological agenda that pushes the country faster and further into the kind of debt approaching meltdown.

People across this country have raised their voices in opposition to what Congress is attempting to do. This latest fight over health care is causing people to ask more questions and look deeper into the solutions being offered by a congress which no longer garners much respect with a great number of people in this country. They stand near a vote which will decide if our health system pushes the country towards a more socialist system. It's a shame that across the ocean where socialism is being traded in for capitalism this country has decided to take a step backward into the very system Europe seems to be discarding. Very soon we will know how bad a deal congress has made for the country if the bill for a health care take-over is passed.

Politicians that vote for this socialist style health system will have earned the representation of being a very horrible breed. I can only hope that somehow congress will have heard the voices from across the land and not vote for a program that will bring further ruin to America.

money money everywhere money

Today I've listened to several people on TV as they talked about Haiti and about the aid being sent to that country. I do hope people somewhere are watching the dollars going to a place such as Haiti which has a long history of bribery and corruption of government officials. I know there have been millions and millions of dollars sent to that country over many years. Bill Clinton made comments earlier about the recent success of some programs in Haiti and said the hopes were high that it was a lasting work. I think it may be nothing more than hope due to all previous attempts at helping that country.

Too much money pouring into a country which has no real working government, is not a place I would put much hope into myself. It has been proven time and again when a large flow of money is available and the demand for that cash is as important as it is in Haiti there will be loss and waste. When there are hands held out, jobs needing to be done, or products needing to be purchased you can be assured that funds will end up in the wrong hands.

Money was wasted and misused in New York and it happened in New Orleans with Katrina. There is less oversight of money and goods in Haiti than was available for New Orleans and New York. Those monies were also given to the Red Cross but given in areas where there was elaborate means for oversight. Checks and balances which were in place during the aftermath of Katrina or after the World Trade Building was destroyed, well that is something that doesn't exist in Haiti. Currently there is controversy brewing with land in Point Au Prince where tent cities will stand and afterwards there is a considerable amount of building due to take place. The owner of that land has made certain deals that are already causing questions to be asked about the property being used. Look for more of these types of controversies to raise their head in the future. At the same time there is still that need of assistance.

trial of common sense

The concern over terrorists being tried in New York is legitimate. A rational air of caution tells common sense people that terrorists should be put through a military tribunal where classified information about legitimate secrets of state would be protected. Having gone through trials of this nature with other terrorists we know that classified information was given to the accused. Because of lessons learned, this idea of having another trial in our judicial system is a most outrageous idea and this administration should learn from the past. The idea that terrorists or people of the world would be moved in some positive way due to our trying terrorists in open court is again outrageous.



People who want to kill us couldn't care less about a fair trial. To think other countries will somehow think we are a better country because, we are willing to put lives in jeopardy and spend perhaps billions of dollars we don't have simply to say, we are a fair country because we try terrorists in open court, is indeed the height of stupidity. Countries that believe in the rule of law and what this country stands for will continue to back us. Countries that have a negative view of America will continue to have a negative view of us no matter where the trials were held. Get rid of this phony excuse about what others will think and go ahead and admit that this administration is simply paying off a political debt to the ultra left wing of their party when they promote the idea of trying terrorists in this country.

Snobbery verus the commmon man

Elite snobbism. That may or may not be a word. If it isn't it should be added to the dictionary straightaway, and for the definition there should be a picture of several people the first of which would be Chris"Tingles" Matthews. Interviewing the guys who wrote the book "Game Change". There were comments made about people who were not very smart and two of those mentioned were John Edwards and Sarah Palin. One of the writers said Edwards had to be kind of a smart guy because he was a lawyer At that point Tingles gleefully jumped in with the comment Aha not so fast look he was arguing in front of a bunch of rural ***unintelligible**. Of course the banter of Palin was as usual with her being just so very rural and very non intellectual, at which point the general childish laughter ensued.

This is what I hadn't put my finger on until this statement. The dismissal of the country bumpkins of the country the ones not schooled at the Ivy league halls of America. All of these people are the types Tingles and others of the liberal elite and the progressive movement look down on with pure unadulterated disgust. In comparison when it comes to Obama the praise they give to him and anything that he espouses their words and actions turn into what could almost be referred to as a love in. This is what Massachusetts was about and it seems to be a fed up with this talking down to feeling that has engulfed the entire country. As long as people like Tingles and Olbigmouth look down on the regular people of this country and attempt to promote the ideals of the elite the divide in this country will not heal.

What comes next will be Olbigmouth and the democrat party squealing about business being able to participate in elections, much like the unions do now.

and the winner is...

Will there ever be an end to the pundits on MSNBC with the constant put down of anything or anyone conservative. Rather than admit the American people are fed up with congress doing what they want and ignoring the voices of those people that pay their salary they couldn't help themselves from giving in to their usual childish remarks. Their put downs of people are common with these two guys. Because they can't refute the ideas of those they disagree with it most always turns into a rant about character.

The excuses were plentiful but the simple truth could not be found. All the vitriol about the tea baggers were the same as usual with the gutter snipes trying to minimize the clout that comes from the tea party movement. Go ahead Pundits and ignore facts, because America has become tired of the games that congress is playing with our constitution and our tax dollars. The writing is plain to see and what the people are saying is loud enough for congress to hear if only they would stop running their mouths long enough to listen.

Brown seems to be the winner tonight and by his winning the people who want to see the country return to the conservative principals will also win. Perhaps more people will see what is wrong with the ideas of the Democrat party and realize they made a mistake when they put Obama in office. The conservative movement must continue if we want this country to come back from the terrible path that Obama has taken this country down. Good luck America I'm pulling for you, we can still do this.

Change is possible

The Kennedy family has had a hold on politics in Massachusetts for a long time. I am sure there are many thousands of people in the state that did not go along with Kennedy politics but until now there wasn't much chance that their views would ever be allowed to come front and center. The Kennedy dynasty was a wall which prevented their opponents from breaching. There was the money, and there was the name of Kennedy. Those two things were powerful enough to deter most opponents from even entering, let alone win a race against Ted Kennedy. There are voters in the state of Massachusetts that have never voted in a senate race where Ted Kennedy was not an incumbent. Something in that sentence itself shows some of what is wrong with elections today.

Perhaps the race in Massachusetts begins to make more sense to me today than it has in the past. The amount of political power the "family" held left little chance for anyone to remove Ted from office, especially if it was a Republican. I can see how people that weren't happy to go along with the status quo could become indifferent to the voting process when it was a Kennedy that held politics in his hand.

That sense of being helpless against such a power has been removed and I believe people opposed to the Obama plan or those that haven't always voted will come to the poles in large numbers. The Kennedy dynasty no longer has ownership of that long held senate seat and the power of the Kennedy name is not in this election. People realize now is the time for their voice to finally be heard and understand that their vote could help decide the outcome of an election that has in the past seemed almost ordained.
