Character is whats needed

"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect every one who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined." --Patrick Henry, speech in the Virginia Ratifying Convention, 1778. It is more than just a shame, that within Congress we cannot find members that extol the virtues of members from that great era. Virtues that would not allow them to sell themselves out to the highest bidder for the all-mighty dollar that they may return to an office they are not worthy to hold.

I pray that perhaps somewhere within our midst there will rise up certain people that put the country first and their own personal gains last. Someone willing to stand up to others in their midst of political rank that when, those found unworthy of their position, be removed from that position which years ago were held by such great men as Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, and others of our founding. God help our country before this time passes.
