The airways were filled today with coverage of President Ford, Saddam, James Brown and repeated footage of the same clips played over and over since midnight and throughout the entire day. I suppose that's the way it has to be at times when certain events break into your Holidays. I also suppose if I had a real life that I would never have noticed those facts huh?
Saddam is gone now and that chapter of Iraq is complete, however we are not at the part of the book where it says, "The End". The exact ending continues to be vague but don't let your prayers for our servicemen and women weaken as they begin the new year away from those they love. It isn't going to be easy to find hope every day we're in Iraq but we must try for the sake of our troops and their loved ones. Come together again America, for the sake of those who gave their all for this venture and those that stand prepared to give now.
Wake up Iraq! Look at whats been handed to you. A tyrant is gone, your dreams are at hand, take back your country from the thugs, murderers, and all those that would squash the dreams you have for you and your children. We can only do so much and America has a limit.
