foolish promise

Watching the box this morning and I listened to a a member of our esteemed political brainstore as he went into great detail as to why we, as a country, need to bring the terrorists before a civil court rather than a military tribunal. Asked if this was nothing more than some sort of slap back at the Bush folks he of course assured him that absolutely no one in this administration had any remnant of on idea such as that. Yeah?

All the talk and blather about how this country needed to air these trials in our public system because our country needs to prove to the world our problems, (torture/illegal war/desire to preserve our way of life/etc.etc.etc) were caused by the Bush administration and Obama is, the new and improved version of justice. To me it's nothing more than fulfilling a very foolish campaign promise to the extreme left wing radicals of his base. To explain more simply cannot be done.

There is no need to bring these thugs to civilian trial. They will taunt and attempt to make a mockery of the court system not mention the cost of security. I think this would be so stupid because it will give the terrorist abroad or cells in this country the chance to strike us. To give terrorists abroad or sleeper cells in this country a target like these trials would be pure ignorance. For these nuts here in this country, this would be a great opportunity for them to show the world more violence by blowing up things in New York. I just have the feeling that this is wrong to try those people inside this country. Let them stay where they are till they process them through the military system. Got to remember some of these prisoners can't go back to their home country because their home country don't want them back on their soil.

Final statement would be this; To those that support this plan like Obama, AJ Holder, ACLU, and all the liberal Bush haters, "Will you stand up now and proclaim you take full responsibility for the violence that may come due to these trials in this country?"

Health conspiracy

Today the debate begins with the health care bill. One of the items to be discussed is about illegals being allowed to participate in the health care system. Dig this, the Hispanic caucus wants illegals to be able to buy into the system. How can people tolerate this from elected officials? Letting illegals participate in the process while citizens will lose out by having to subsidize those illegals. I don't know how much we are supposed to tolerate before finally just screaming, get their asses out of our country. We have as a nation, given more than what is allowed by the constitution to illegal aliens. It is time to stop the flow of lawbreakers and let them know the game is over and from here on we secure the border, and then make it mandatory to use E-Verify any time the question arises over the eligibility of a citizen.

I find the nerve of some of these special groups in congress like the Hispanic and Black Caucus quite offensive. There is no way in hell a "White Caucus" could do what these two groups do. Not only that, they do it with a straight face as though it is their special little law and people should just step aside. I'm tired of things like this and I hope today once and for all people come together and kill this health bill stuff for the final time. We will see more debt and more loss of jobs if this bill passes.

Hood

The thing about writing something in a blog us that it will sit there and blare out to the world all your words that you take the time to put down. Especially when what you write turns out to be wrong. I am finding out after some more searching that this fellow managed to get up on a table of sorts and had a tremendous advantage over those individuals left to look for cover as this hail of gunshots rained down on them. From some of the latest information I can see the possibility of one man causing all this turmoil. My comparison would be much like fish in a barrel. Although My first reaction may prove out wrong, with these new bits of information coming out, there stands the possibility that Nidal Hasan was alone in this act.

My first indication from news yesterday was that there were only two handguns with no extra clips. Damn I hate to admit my wrongs in public. Oh well all the news isn't out so maybe we'll find out he had more weapons than first mentioned or that he did have extra clips. But now there comes a time for serious thinking about Muslims in the military until more is known. And one other thing, yes I'm prejudiced. Especially when it comes to my military men and women's safety..

Information about Fort Hood Incident

First word is that one individual did all the damage (army issued handguns) at Fort Hood. This cannot be true. That is just unbelievable to me. I have shot some guns in my life and I find it kind of unique that this individual shot 40 something people. I think with the issue of weapons at the base perhaps this guy had a 9 mm and with normal circumstances we are talking 13 or 14 shots in the clip giving 15 rounds to fire. It seems this guy would have to had walked up to the individuals to make this many hits. From my thinking there had to be help from somewhere or there had to be more guns or different that issued involved than just those in this one mans hands.

Watch for more information from the people at Fort Hood to come out in this matter. It seems there had to be more clips or weapons involved than just the pistols (handguns). We will discover the extra information when it become available. This one guy, this Maj. cannot be that good of a shot nor can he be that good at fast reloading. We will learn very soon. Hearts out to those with family involved in this horrible situation.

Trouble in our land

A terrible situation happened at Fort Hood today with the shootings of soldiers and others for some reason unknown at this time. This was an eye opening event and I'm sure it will take on new seriousness at American bases around the world. Investigations will uncover the reasons and from what has taken place today, extra precautions will be put into play. Perhaps an air of complacency has worked itself into our security systems. A system that was never supposed to become "routine". Our military will recover from this awful lesson learned the hard way and hopefully it will never happen again. Our prayers go out to those injured and killed today at Fort Hood, may God bless the survivors and the families of all involved.

"If ... I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Perhaps it is time for this nation to humble itself and we all drop to our knees and pray to the creator for his Divine intervention. We as a people can only do so much on our own.

They pay us no heed

They really cannot see what is before their eyes. They cannot hear words that ring out loud. They look down on those they neither hear or see and in that they find much to scoff at while their laughter crosses the airwaves. Among themselves they point, they boast, they ridicule, those things they neither see nor hear. They do not understand those things, yet their laughter and their jeers continue but they do this at their peril.

They cannot see the anger of conservatives and independents and even some democrats. This anger is due to this casual disregard of our constitution by the administration. The anger has risen slowly but as time passes the depth of this anger will increase with each passing day their voices are not heard. People have tried to express to congress their views on how they want the country to be governed. They want restraint leveled against lawmakers because they have abandoned all common sense when it comes to the waste of our tax dollars. Politicians have taken it upon themselves to become more and more involved in matters that belong to the states and more often, to the individual citizen.

This government has overstepped the boundaries clearly indicated in the constitution. Once congress created the Federal Reserve they provided a way for them to spend freely. Since they did not have to have an equal amount of gold to cover that amount of paper money printed up they were now free to spend without care and could now start providing for the citizens and begin to make the citizens dependent on whatever goodies the congress could sneak into some bill. But the FED is just one of the many problems we face today. These congressmen and women
are going to have to be made to listen to the voices of their constituents or they go. More to come.
